Resort Managers Couple

We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on management couple to lead Kelly’s Beach Resort—creating an outstanding experience for guests, supporting our team and driving business growth. Set on 5.5 acres of natural rainforest in coastal Bargara, near Bundaberg, the resort features 41 self-contained villas and offers a gateway to the Southern Great Barrier Reef.
The Role
Guest services and reservations
• Manage reception, check-ins and check-outs.
• Prepare quotes for individual and group bookings.
• Complete the daily RMS audit.
• Cover reception from 8:30 am 5:00 pm, supported by an on-site receptionist.
• Manage late check-in bookings from 5:00 pm–8:00 pm (with lock box instructions) and managing after hours calls.
• Coordinate late check-ins using the on-site lock box and serve as the after-hours emergency contact.
Property operations
• Allocate villas and inspect them before guest arrivals.
• Complete basic maintenance and coordinate trades.
• Keep the gardens, pools, spa, sauna, tennis court and common areas safe and well presented.
Team leadership
• Recruit, roster, train and supervise reception, housekeeping and maintenance staff.
Revenue, marketing and owner reporting
• Manage online travel agencies, including Booking.com and Expedia.
• Grow direct bookings, manage social media and respond to Google reviews.
• Inspect villas and provide quarterly reports to owners.
• Record expenses by villa and prepare data for owner disbursements and trust reconciliation.
• Report on occupancy, revenue and banking.
About You
• Proven experience in resort, property or holiday-letting management.
• Strong front-office and team leadership skills.
• Highly organised, commercially focused and passionate about hospitality.

• RMS Cloud
• Corporate and travel-agent accounts
