Resort Brokers Expands with New Appointments

Resort Brokers Australia has added two new brokers to its Queensland ranks, taking the agency’s growing national network of specialist brokers to 37. The two latest appointments, Todd Warner on the Gold Coast and Arron Bailey on the Sunshine Coast, follow significant recent expansion moves in Victoria and South Australia. Catering for management rights demand growth on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, Resort Brokers has welcomed two sales professionals from former senior management roles with the world’s largest family-owned spirits company, Bacardi Martini Australia.

Todd Warner, an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of leadership in the liquor and construction industries over some 25 years, will handle management rights sales on the
Gold Coast. With a passion for property and development always bubbling away, Todd jumped at the chance to challenge himself make the move, applying his wealth of sales experience at Resort Brokers Australia. Previously he was Bacardi Martini’s State Business Manager NSW/ACT, at the helm of the company’s top-performing sales team, based in Sydney. In 2016/17, he delivered a record year of growth for his business unit.

North of Brisbane, Arron Bailey’s proven sales expertise and an exhaustive knowledge of the liquor  and hospitality industries combine to perfectly equip him for his role as a specialist tourism and accommodation property and business broker.  After some 10 years managing hotels and liquor stores, Arron built a very successful sales career. For the past decade, he has been WA State Manager for Bacardi Martini, leading his staff to three ‘Team of the Year’ awards. Since November last year, Resort Brokers Australia has also boosted its Victorian team in response to the growing acceptance of the management rights model in the south.

Recent Victorian appointments include former Noosa-based management rights operator, Damien Loorham, and Michelle Matthews, who has a background in the business banking sector and was previously an owner-operator of a Melbourne hotel.

Resort Brokers Australia’s expansion has also seen the launch of a dedicated South Australian division headed by Kelli Crouch, a sales professional who also spent many years with Barcardi Lion where she rose to be State Sales Manager (SA/NT).

“The sales, marketing and leadership skills, plus knowledge of the hospitality and accommodation industries shared by our new recruits are invaluable to Resort Brokers as we steadily gain market share across Australia,” said the agency’s national sales manager, Trudy Crooks.
